Living life fully requires continuous learning. The Christian Education program at KCC offers opportunities for adult learning throughout the year. Programs that nurture the ongoing spiritual development of individuals and groups are offered on a regular basis. Educational activities include:
- weekly noon-time Bible studies,
- weekly Sunday morning discussions of spiritually-related books,
- monthly topics of interest at Women’s Fellowship meetings,
- the annual “Emig Lecture” on topics such as diversity, justice, peace and mission
- 5-8 week-long evening sessions that explore biblical texts and/or topics of contemporary interest in the Christian life.
- Our next adult study program will be during Advent, as we reflect on the biblical stories of the birth of Jesus, using The First Christmas: What the Gospels Really Teach About Jesus’s Birth, by Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crossan.
