- activities through South Providence Neighborhood Ministries
- participation in church service
- and a summer Mission Trip
Mission trips involve a week during the summer and focus on service-oriented activities. Past youth groups have traveled to New Orleans, New England, New York City, and the NYE (UCC National Youth Event).
We also seek to support student members with projects of their own design. Come join us in Fellowship.
Mission Trips
Senior High Youth members have planned and organized the annual mission trip each year since 2008. Mission trips involve a week during the summer and focus on service-oriented activities. Past youth groups have traveled to New Orleans (2008) to assist with reconstruction after Hurricane Katrina, New England (2209, 2010) with Habitat for Humanity, New York City (2011, 2013) to serve the poor and homeless, and the NYE (2012 UCC National Youth Event) to connect with youth across the globe. Come join us for our next adventure.
Middle School Youth Group
The KCC Middle School Youth Group centers around offering a variety of activities for kids grades 6-8 and their families to participate in. Our activities include community service programs, projects that focus on helping our church and its members, and of course gatherings that are simply about having fun. The overall goal is that our time together gives us the opportunity to build positive and supportive relationships among youth group members. Feedback from parents and kids is always welcome to help better the program, as we prepare the children to be active members of the Senior High Group.
